Am I cray-cray?

Does your conscious ever bother you? Mine has been really bugging me lately. If I told you what was bugging me (and I will), you'd probably think that I'm a little cray-cray. 

I'm always looking for embroidery or applique files that I think will be popular. Designs that shout out "Oh, that's so cute!" Designs that catch my eye and hopefully someone else's eye. Designs that will sell. I struggle with this, I really do!

In June and July, it's time to start thinking about October themed designs. I saw a super cute pocket t-shirt that had the word "BOO" on the pocket and above the pocket it had embroidered images of ghosts and bats. Yes, it was super cute and I almost bought that design. Man, oh man was I tempted, but I didn't buy that design. Apparently, there are several sellers on Etsy that's using this design. I could've easily added a little spin to that design to make mine just a little different (or so I think). I still didn't buy the design. It was cheap enough, popular enough, cute enough, and a well digitized design. It met all my criteria, but I still didn't buy.

My conscious bothered me. This is why I didn't buy it. I wanted it, but not the point where I actually bought it. I toyed with it. I had it in my cart. I removed it and it felt good. See, the image of ghosts bothered me. It's a silly little ghost but it's what that silly ghost represents. Here's where you research the true meaning or history of Halloween. This is where you're free to think I'm cray-cray, but hear me out. I'm a believer in Christ. I do believe in ghosts. I believe in the Holy Ghost. I believe in the Holy Spirit. 

Am I bashing Halloween? Not at all. Would I dress up for Halloween? Yes, I'd dress up as a M&M or perhaps Mary Poppins! I'm all about the fun! Would I eat Halloween candy? Absolutely! Bring on the mini Snicker bars! 

I'll stick with the cute fall images! I'll stick with pumpkins, smores, leaves, and stuff like that! So, send me those cute designs and we'll make that happen!
